The actress, who was a cover girl for Vogue magazine, is now living on the streets of Beverly Hills along with Samantha and Olivia. Ann Turkel, who was tied with Richard Harris for eight years prior to her divorce 20 years ago, is continuing to process the death of Richard Harris. The actress was born into a Jewish middle-class family and raised within Manhattan, Turkel had, at the age of 16, been studying at the same time with Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse and Philip Burton at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Within a matter of a few days and a half, the editor-in-chief Diana Vreeland commissioned Ann to shoot the very first Vogue Cover, along with photographer Richard Avedon. In the following weeks, Ann began to become one of the most sought after models in the United States, appearing on the covers of some of the most prestigious fashion magazines like Vogue Bazaar and Cosmopolitan among many others. Ann modeled successfully for cosmetic companies such as Max Factor Revlon, Chanel and Europe in Europe within two years.
