Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic musician, singer and actor. He blends soul gospel jazz with R&B in a distinct blend. Avery Sunshine has appeared on Broadway as well as at various festivals across Europe, as well as the Democratic National Convention. Her real name is Denise White. She is now a resident of Atlanta she was born in Chester Pennsylvania. Her musical path began at church, where she sang as well as performed piano. She attended Spellman College in Atlanta where she started her musical apprenticeship in the Atlanta's R&B scene. Sunshine received national attention for her daily shows in 2008 at the Democratic National Convention. She was invited to perform in the Obama administration's inaugural in 2009.
