Summer Glau is an American actor who was famous for playing River Tam in the critically loved TV series Firefly and as Cameron in the TV series Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Also, she has appeared in Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck, Hawaii Five-0 and The 4400. She has also acted in TV movies and shorts including Mammoth The Initiation of Sarah Deadly Honeymoon and The Helper for Christmas Dead End and Inside the Box. Glau has won many awards and distinctions. FHM included her twice on their listing of 100 Sexiest Ladies in The World. She also appeared in Wizard magazine's Sexiest Women of TV. Maxim included her in the magazine's Hot 100. Coming to her acting accolades Glau was awarded the SFX Award for Best Actress for Serenity. The film she starred in Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles brought her the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . The youngest daughter of Marcela Quintanilla. Selena began her career at age eight in a group formed by the late Abraham Quintanilla. Selena, her siblings Abraham junior and Sister Suzette performed on drums. Selena sang for the group. The band was called Selena Y Los Dino and she would perform along with her siblings at different venues, wedding fairs, bars and various other locations. The band was very and time-consuming for Selena as well as her brothers and sisters, so they did not have a childhood but they were encouraged to become dedicated musicians because of determination from their father Abraham. Abraham Senior was also a member of the Los Dinos original band. Selena Y Los Dinos officially started in the year 1981. It was a company of the family and was the primary source of income for the family. The Quintanilla family were determined to achieve success despite their difficult times and lack of money at first. Selena Y Los Dinos would become popular throughout the west states during the 1980s. Selena was awarded Female Vocalist and Performer at the Tejano Music Awards in 1986. Since then, Selena Y Los Dinos were among the top performers year after year and gained the attention and fame. They appeared on numerous Spanish-language television programs such as El Show De Johnny Canales as well as Siempre en Domingo and Sabado Gigante.
